Summer ski and snowboard camps are pretty rare these days. Well they’ve always been rare, especially in the east. This is why we are proud to have AKAMP at Sommet Saint-Sauveur, Avila side! Each Spring, what we could call the “AKAMP Glacier” is made by pushing the rest of the snow in the park towards the bottom of the trail and by covering it with hay, a natural insulator keeping the snow from melting.
This edition will mark the 11th AKAMP! The event will take place from June 29th to July 4th. That makes 6 days of riding! Don’t worry if you work during the day, you can ride the features in the evening as well. Additionally, the rope tow lets you way more laps than if you were hiking.
Brand new concept this year, AKAMP is presenting a girls only session called the #PINEAPPLEJAM. On July 1st, from 5 pm to 9 pm, the ladies will have the park to themselves, with features for all levels! Girl coaches will be there to give advices. The night will end with an après-ski at the bar, of course!
